Speaker Mr Peh Shing Huei
Peh Shing Huei is a co-founder of the Macular Degeneration Society in Singapore, a non-profit organisation which aims to build awareness and offer support to patients of the low-vision disease. He received a Meritorious Service Award at Singapore's Eye and Vision Health Award in 2014.
He is a journalist and an author of several No 1 bestsellers, including the latest Standing Tall: The Goh Chok Tong Years. He won the Singapore Literature Prize in 2016 for his book When the Party Ends. He is a founding partner of content agency The Nutgraf, and former news editor and China bureau chief at The Straits Times
